TICA Cat Show

In July of 2023 we were able to attend our fifth TICA cat show, hosted by the PracTICAl Cats Club in Gray Summit, MO. This was our third show to attend with the PracTICAl Cats Club. The Maine Coon group included non-poly & polydactyl, these are split into two breeds. Maine Coon & Maine Coon Poly.

We attended this show with Justine, Tango, and Alexa, this was Alexa’s third TICA show, Justine’s second TICA show, and Tango’s first ever show. For this show Alexa was in the kitten class for Friday/Saturday, then the adult (Championship) class for Sunday. Justine was shown for the first time in the Alter class instead of Championship. Tango was shown for the first time in the kitten class. We attended all three days which was 2o rings in total.

We are very happy with their results! This was Tango’s first ever show, he was confident and did great in the rings. This was Justine’s first show as Alter, second TICA show, and first three day show. This was also Alexa’s last show in the kitten class (Friday & Saturday), first show in the adult Championship class (Sunday), third TICA show, and first three day show. Alexa received her last kitten final, 9th best all-breed kitten. Justine received her first alter final, 9th best all-breed alter. The points Justine received along with her first final as an alter, she has earned the title Champion Alter. Alexa received enough points for her champion title, so we hope for a few finals at the next show. Thank you to all of the judges that picked our girls for finals!
