Lucki Maine Coons | Missouri Maine Coon Breeder | Award Winning Maine Coon Cats
Lucki Maine Coons is a small, home-based Maine Coon cattery located in Missouri. We currently have three girls, each of whom is not only a carefully selected breeding queen, but first and foremost, a beloved family pet who lives in our home. We typically only have three litters each year. Each of our Maine Coon queens have been carefully selected for their exemplary traits including their conformation to the written breed standard, temperament, and overall health.

LuckiMC Missdemeanor, Missy
LuckiMC Missdemeanor, known as Missy at home, is a beautiful Black Tortie & White Maine Coon girl with the most striking green eyes. Missy was born here at Lucki Maine Coons to Aly and Alexa as part of our OG Rappers litter, where she was the only girl among eight kittens. Her gentle expression perfectly matches her loving, easygoing temperament.
Missy has always been a special girl to us. Being the only girl in a litter of eight, she learned early how to hold her own with seven brothers. Even so, she truly embodies the Maine Coon reputation as a gentle giant. She is an extremely sweet and easygoing girl. Watching her grow from kittenhood into the beautiful young cat she is today has been an honor. One of my favorite things about her is her classic, sweet Maine Coon expression with the beautiful green eyes. She is one of those cats who is simply easy to love, and we feel very lucky to call her ours.

CH Anaischarm*RU Alexa of LuckiMC, Alexa
CH Anaischarm*RU Alexa of LuckiMC, known as Alexa at home, is a red and white Maine Coon Poly girl. We were fortunate to bring Alexa into our family from her breeder Anna whom, after more than 11 years with Maine Coons, has since begun her journey into retirement. We are grateful for the opportunity to have worked with her and to have such a special girl become a part of Lucki Maine Coons.
We began showing Alexa when she was just four months old, and she quickly excelled in the show hall. She did very well in the kitten class and finished the 2024 season as TICA Great Lakes Region’s Third Best Maine Coon Polydactyl Kitten of the Year. I love Alexa’s beautiful contrasting coat and confidence. She has a way of looking equally sweet and slightly intimidating at the same time. Alexa attended her first show in the Championship class at 10 months and earned her Champion title. She was also named TICA Great Lakes Region’s 2024 Best Red & White Maine Coon Poly and TICA’s 2024 International Best Red & White Maine Coon Poly. We are incredibly proud of everything she accomplished during her first show season, and for now, she spends her days at home ruling the house in true Maine Coon fashion.

RW QGC Chemicoons TuttiFrutti of LuckiMC, KiKi
RW QGC Chemicoons TuttiFrutti of LuckiMC, known as KiKi at home, is a brown classic torbie and white Maine Coon girl with a big personality & seemingly endless energy. She came to us from our friend Liz Brown (Chemicoons) and was born in her Hawaii litter as Waikiki, which is where the name KiKi came from.
KiKi is easily the most energetic cat in our home. She is always on the go and usually right in the middle of whatever is happening. Life is rarely quite with KiKi, but it is never boring. She carried that same entertaining confidence into the show hall and accomplished so much in a very short amount of time. KiKi earned her Quadruple Grand Champion title in only three shows and finished the 2026 season as the TICA Great Lakes Region’s Best Maine Coon Kitten and 6th Best Allbreed Kitten. She was also named the region’s Seventh Best Longhair Cat, Thirteenth Allbreed Cat, Second Best Maine Coon Cat, and Best Brown Classic Torbie & White Maine Coon. Internationally, she was recognized as the Second Best Brown Classic Torbie & White. We are very proud of everything she has accomplished so far. We also know that so much of what makes KiKi began with her breeder, and we are grateful to her for trusting us with KiKi. For now, KiKi is enjoying the homebody life but, who knows, she may return to the show hall someday to earn her Supreme title.

Known for their Elegant & Athletic Build: The beloved female Maine Coon Cats are renowned for their elegant appearance. Female Maine Coons do typically have a slightly smaller and more refined build compared to their male counterparts which gives them a graceful and sophisticated presence. The typical range for a female Maine Coon is around 10-15lbs, with some reaching near 20lbs. It is important to remember that the Maine Coon breed is a slowly maturing breed and generally grow until the age of 1 to 2, then fully mature between the 3 to 5 years of age. Although female Maine Coons are typically slightly smaller than male Maine Coons, they are still significantly larger than many other domestic cat breeds, contributing to their nickname, “gentle giants”.
Female or Male? Don’t Choose by Size Alone: Many families may be stuck choosing between a male or female Maine Coon for their family. The common question we receive is, is there a large size difference between the two? If you are solely looking for a Maine Coon based off of their size, you may decide to pick a male. Although do not count the females out, many female Maine Coons turn out to be just as “large” as males. When deciding to bring a Maine Coon into your family, size should not be your main deciding factor. There are many great things that create the beloved “gentle giants” that are Maine Coons.
Temperament & Home Life: In our experience, Maine Coons are friendly, social, and easygoing regardless of gender. The biggest difference maker in temperament is proper socialization, that’s what helps kittens grow into the confident, outgoing companions we all adore. Every kitten still has their own individual temperament and some quirky traits you may notice could be inherited from your Maine Coon kitten’s parents. We always encourage choosing based on personality and fit. Pair that with the right enrichment at home, such as tall cat trees, scratching posts, & interactive play, and you’ll bring out the absolute best in them. In our home, the girls do tend to be the couch loungers.
