Meet Gem of Serbin House Aly-Baba
He’s known as Aly at home. Aly is a solid black male with piercing green eyes. He has the most laid back personality and is truly a wonderful boy. We joke that Aly has great “manners”, which is honestly hard to find in non-neutered males. We’re thankful for the opportunity to have Aly be a part of our family and breeding program, he’s a really great boy.
Aly was shown by his breeder & received his Junior Champion & Champion title in the 2020-2021 show season. We officially started showing Aly in the 2022-2023 show season where he gained his CFA Champion title.
Aly’s Health Testing information. Genetic Testing: Clear/Negative for HCM, SMA, PKD, PKDef. HCM Screening by Echocardiogram: Normal June 2022, Normal September 2024, next scan planned for March 2026. FHD Screening: Physical examination confirmed overall excellent health and normal joint mobility. Radiographs of his hips further revealed normal confirmation with no anatomical signs or evidence of hip dysplasia.
Aly is a beautiful boy with piercing green eyes, a trait you may notice in his kittens. He’s turning six in January (2026)! He has such a calm disposition and wonderful, laid back personality. We joke about the fact that Aly has great “manners”, which is honestly hard to find in non-neutered males. Aly is a wonderful, healthy boy and continues to bring great type and excellent temperaments to our kittens. He was shown by his breeder prior to joining us from the age of four months to one year, during the 2020-2021 show season. Aly received his Junior Champion title and Champion title during that time. We officially started showing him in December of 2022 and since he completed the six qualifying rings needed, he has received his CFA Champion title. We do continue to show Aly on occasion with both CFA & TICA. Aly’s father, Marlboro of Serbin House, was a top ranking cat under their registry and has humbly achieved the highest title eligible there, World Champion. While many people are drawn to the more “flashy” colors and patterns in Maine Coons, I see beauty in simplicity, coat color is just the final touch. Fun fact, Aly was born in a litter of all solid black kittens! His breeder is wonderful and I cannot thank her enough for Aly.
