TICA Cat Show in Missouri

In January of 2023 we were able to attend our second TICA cat show, hosted by the PracTICAl Cats in Gray Summit, MO. At this show there were over 40+ breeds in attendance from kittens to adults. This show was in Gray Summit at the Purina Farms Event Center, it was an amazing venue. The Maine Coon group was large, we were able to meet a lot of other exhibitors at this show.

We attended this show with our future queens Cocoa, Justine, and Katniss. This was Cocoa and Justine’s second show, their first with TICA and Katniss’ first show. This was also our first two day show, so it was a long weekend! The three girls had a blast exploring our hotel room and snacking in the show hall. We are so happy that they are getting more comfortable in the rings, they all seem to really enjoy all the extra attention.

We are proud of their results, with TICA smoke is paired with silver for division, so Cocoa and Justine were against each other for division as Cocoa is a black smoke tortie and Justine is a black silver classic tabby. Katniss was not against them as she is polydactyl, Maine Coon Polydactyl is grouped separate from non-poly. Cocoa and Justine were the only females in their color and division, so we are very impressed with how they did against males.
