CFA Cat Show

In August of 2023 we were able to attend our sixth CFA cat show hosted by Topeka Cat Fanciers in Gardner, KS. At this show there were 115 cats in attendance, this includes kittens and adults. This was our first show with the Topeka Cat Fanciers and we had a great time!

We attended this show with our future queen Lolli and our future king Elysee. This was Lolli’s first show as an adult and the first kitten show for Elysee. At this show, there were seven rings in total. Six of the rings were all breed, one was specialty. All breed is for finals, these include all of the breeds for the different classes. Specialty is shorthair and longhair split, so all shorthair breeds together and all longhair breeds together. Elysee and Lolli did great, they had a blast at the show and running around at the hotel.

We are very happy with their results. This was Elysee’s first show and Lolli’s first adult show. Elysee received several All-breed finals, these were out of 26 kittens. Lolli did not receive any finals at this show but, with 6 qualifying rings she did receive her Champion title. We will hope for finals next time, she still did great considering this was her first show as an adult in the open champion class at 9 months. We are excited to show them again in the future.
