Red River Rascals, Red Hot Cats

TICA Cat Show in Oklahoma, February 2025

In February of 2025 we were able to attend another TICA cat show, hosted by the Red River Rascals in Stillwater, OK. This was our first show to attend with the Red River Rascals club. The Maine Coon kitten class and the Maine Coon adult (Championship) class were both fairly large at this show.

We attended this show with Dynamite, Biggie, and a new friend. This was Dynamite’s second TICA show in the Championship class and his fifth TICA show in total. This was Biggie’s first show in the Championship class and his fourth TICA show in total. For our new friend, this was her first show. We attended both days which was 12 rings in total.

We had a great (and cold!) time in Stillwater. Both Dynamite & Biggie did very well against many, many Maine Coons. So many that they could not fit all in the same judging ring at one time. We went with hopes that both would have a good experience and get one final each. Dynamite received one final which means he earned his Double Grand Champion title which is a first for us! Biggie received three finals which means he earned his Champion title and has two finals towards his Grand Champion title. We are very happy with how they did and are excited for the next show.

I know you are intrigued with our new addition and we will be sharing more about her soon! Annie was one of the youngest kittens at the show and she did very well considering!
